Biostimulants

Liquid biological fertilizer formulated with Pseudomonas pergaminensis, a beneficial rhizosphere bacterium that solubilizes phosphorus and zinc bound in the soil, enhancing root development and improving early-season crop nutrition and establishment.

RIZOFOS is a biological inoculant and plant growth promoter developed by Rizobacter. It contains selected strains of Pseudomonas pergaminensis, a beneficial soil microorganism that enhances nutrient availability and improves the efficiency of natural soil resources.

One of the main challenges in crop nutrition is the immobilization of phosphorus. Although phosphorus may be present in the soil or supplied through conventional fertilizers, a significant portion becomes chemically bound to calcium, iron, or aluminum compounds, making it unavailable for plant uptake. Rizofos addresses this limitation by naturally releasing bound phosphorus and zinc into plant-available forms.

By improving nutrient accessibility in the rhizosphere, Rizofos promotes rapid crop establishment, stronger root systems, and more efficient nutrient utilization, contributing to increased productivity and sustainable agricultural performance.

Pseudomonas pergaminensisis a plantgrowth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) with multiple modes of action, depending on the strain and formulation:

  • Competes with pathogens for iron using siderophores (iron-chelating compounds), starving

the pathogen.

  • Growth Promotion

  • Produces phytohormones (mainly auxins such as IAA), promoting rootgrowth and

development.

  • Release compounds such as 2,3-butanediol and acetoin, which act as biostimulants..

  • Enhances nutrient uptake (especially phosphorus, zinc and micronutrients).

  • Produce gabD (aminotransferase) that reduce stress.

  • Activates photosystems I and II.
