Beneficial bacteria-based solution that promotes plant vigor and crop productivity
SERTIVO® is a microbial solution based on Pseudomonas pergaminensis strain 1008 for foliar application. By enhancing photosynthetic efficiency, it helps plants make better use of available resources, promoting stronger growth, improved crop vigor, and increased yield potential across a wide range of crops
Pseudomonas pergaminensis is a plantgrowth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) with multiple modes of action, depending on the strain and formulation:
- Competes with pathogens for iron using siderophores (iron-chelating compounds), starving the pathogen.
- Growth Promotion
- Produces phytohormones (mainly auxins such as IAA), promoting root growth and development.
- Releases compounds such as 2,3-butanediol and acetoin, which act as biostimulants.
- Enhances nutrient uptake (especially phosphorus, zinc, and micronutrients).
- Produces gabD (aminotransferase) that reduces stress.
- Activates photosystems I and II
Crops: Cereals, row crops and veggies
Main Crops: Potato, Soybean, Tomato
Advantages
- Improved plant health and resilience against diseases.
- More uniform crop establishment and development.
- Higher yield potential and crop performance.
- Reduced plant stress under challenging environmental conditions.
